Shelves, visibility and withdrawing documents
The shelf decides who sees a document; a withdrawn document is visible to nobody and is permanently deleted when the period ends.
Shelves
Every document sits on a shelf and its visibility follows the shelf: Only me, Whole organization or Selected people. Your first document opens the Personal shelf and the whole-organization shelf. Some shelves accept documents only from admins; some start new documents closed to the assistant.
Withdrawing a document
Choosing Withdraw on a document shows a confirmation: how many people will no longer see it, which derived data will be deleted (passages, embeddings, answers based on it) and the date of permanent deletion. Downloaded copies and exported packages can't be taken back.
Restoring
Before the period ends, Restore makes the document visible again. After it ends, restoring is no longer possible.
