Stopping your own assistant (Stop)
After you stop it, no new step begins; only a person can resume it.
Stop (or “Stop my assistant…”) on the My assistant screen stops only your assistant; the rest of the organization is unaffected.
What happens
- No new step begins. Chat and reading stay open.
- Steps already on their way before you stopped can't be taken back; the breakdown counts them separately: sent, stopped, already on the way, unclear whether it went out.
- Your connections stay in place.
- The assistant can't lift its own stop; only a person resumes it.
Resuming
Choose Resume. Pending permissions and approvals are then checked again: tasks that expired or changed scope are put to you again and won't run by themselves.
