Uploading documents

You add documents to organizational memory; the shelf decides who can see them.

Add documents under Memory > Upload document.

Accepted files

PDF, Word (.docx), plain text (.txt, .md) and photos of receipts or invoices (.jpg, .png, .heic). Photos are only read when OCR is on; otherwise upload PDF, DOCX or text. There is a size limit per file and a maximum number per upload; the screen shows both. The check on screen is informational only, the real check runs on the server.

Who will see it?

Each document goes onto a shelf; Who will see it? shows how many people can. If the assistant shouldn't use a document, tick Assistant should not use these documents.

Status

A document is uploading, checked, read and then ready. Unreadable ones say “couldn't read”; for partly read ones the pages that were read are listed. The assistant doesn't use pages it couldn't read.
